Bob Bornack
Operations Manager / FOH Engineer
Bob bought his first new mixing console just over 30 years ago… rotary pots and 6 inputs. Who’d of thought that 6 wasn’t going to last for long. Since that time he’s logged roughly 10,000 hours at FOH for just about everybody who’s anybody and remains a top pick for the mix.

Chris Bowie
Audio Engineer
Chris worked as a system tech for seven years at Dangerous Audio, with acts such as Urban Disturbance, Naked (Bodeans Tribute), 7th Heaven, Sammy Ray and Texas Flood, and a three year run as sound providers for American English that ultimately took me on tour to Tokyo Japan. He spent four years working as an independent contractor with Creative Soundz as a stage hand and system tech, working with acts such as Keith Urban, Neil McCoy, Rascal Flatt's, Shadows of Night and Prince.
Saving the best for last, he has been working for Tantra Tour Sound since 2000. He is currently working as lead system tech and as an assistant monitor and front of house engineer, and has worked with acts such as Fire House, L A Guns, Skid Row, Quite Riot, Blake Shelton, Steve Azar, Mountain, The Yardbirds, Vanilla Fudge, Pat Travers, Brian Howe, 7th Heaven, Bellevue Suite, The Fabulous Janes, The New Invaders, Crash (Dave Mathews tribute) and many other national and local acts too numerous to list.
Chris: " The highlight of my time spent with Tantra, thus far, has been the date we provided production for War when they opened for Earth Wind And Fire at University of Missouri. Above all though the most valuable thing I have gotten here at Tantra is the time spent with my coworkers. With the passion and enjoyment we have for the work we do and the level of service we provide our customers it has been and will continue to be an experience I will carry through out my life."
Michael "Bo" Topousis
Audio Engineer
"Hard to believe it's been 25 years since I bought my first board." A "naturalized" Chicagolander, residing in the area for 11 years now, Michael originated his career in South Louisiana where he was born and raised.
"An engineer once told me that if you could "feel" the guitar you were either too close to the PA or the guitar was too loud. That engineer obviously never stood on a stage in front of 7000+ people with a guitar in his hands. I always try to make sure the audience hears what the performer wants to convey to the audience, not what the engineer thinks they should hear."
